• Intro to the Nordic Table

    Join Patrice for an introduction to ASI’s Nordic Table program in this demonstration-based class. As we prepare and share a light meal, we’ll explore the central tenets of New Nordic cuisine, including seasonality and locally sourced ingredients, and their applications to today’s Midwestern tables. Explore how environment, migration, and trade have changed and preserved food traditions in Scandinavian and Scandinavian-American communities over the past 150 years. The menu and discussion will share just how diverse, colorful, and nutritious the Nordic Table can be!

  • Nordic Harvest Supper (Online) - Vesterheim

    Join us as we celebrate the flavors of the season in this class using ingredients that are available at the peak of harvest. We'll use seasonal produce and your favorite proteins to create a unique and fabulous meal that honors the harvest. Are you ready for a fabulous Nordic dining experience? Recipes will include an appetizer, main course, sides, and dessert. We'll also create a seasonal signature cocktail and n.a. beverage. 

  • Norsk Høstfest

    Join me and my Nordic buddies Chef Stig, Rita, and Teena as we cook our way across Minot, North Dakota and celebrate all things Nordic Food!

    We’ll be appearing at various events prior to the start of the festival, so if you are in town look us up! Then come to the North Dakota Fairgrounds Wednesday through Saturday and you’ll find us at the Nordic Kitchen stage all day. We’ll demo some delicious foods and entertain you.
